This is so well written. Thank you. I like how you answered each question systematically with no BS. Can’t wait for the next part.

Thank you for your answers. Simple, concise, and honest! Regarding God, I don't really believe that the omnipotent being who created the universe has a human-type gender. That would be too limiting and I was taught that the first rule of Christian theology is that we can't limit God. I used to be uncomfortable with designating God as only "He". Then I came across a Father's Day greeting card that said something like, "Fathers are just Mothers.......who let you do wild and stupid things". It seemed to fit God, who gave us free will so we can choose to be stupid or choose to turn to Him. If God were a Mother, she would have made us to clean up our room a long time ago. Something I think about that makes me smile.

But who represents the ulna and who represents the radius in marriage?

Good strength to you in your attempt to talk reasonably to people on the internet! Hope you and Jason are well. We miss Kentucky and our friends there.

Thank you for this. It's refreshing and honest! As far as gender goes, if Christ is the Alpha and the Omega and each of us made in God's own image, then God is all of it, and then some. That we have assigned the pronoun "him" when we speak of God is a matter of convenience, I think, and should not imply a specific gender -- which leads me to believe that gender is a social construct, and who am I to worry about how someone sees themselves? It simply does not matter. God made each of us perfect in "his" eyes.
