Catching up and getting on schedule; let's read a book; Upcoming events
HI, HEY, HELLO. IT IS MAY. ALREADY.
WOW.
It feels like things have been very busy in our house - spring tends to make us want to make BIG CHANGES and we’ve been talking through some next steps, making plans, ETC at my house. My husband just finished his Master’s in Business Analytics; I decided to postpone returning to teaching for another year to see how things shake out in… (gestures wildly) the world… and I was thrilled to present and participate (virtually) in this event at New Skete monastery, focused on women in the Orthodox Church. I’ve been cleaning a lot of things and trying to declutter/get a handle on what we NEED to declutter if that makes sense???? Lately life’s felt like it’s getting a little on top of me and I’m trying to dig my way out.
ANYWAY my goal for May is to get back to a more regular schedule with a real newsletter on Tuesdays/Wednesdays (can’t tie me down) and the weekly Strong Opinions on Fridays. Fingers crossed.

I’m sorry publication has been a little erratic.
I’m coming out of burnout, spring is a little hard for me sometimes… I always have plans and goals and sometimes I don’t hit them! But thank y’all all for being a part of this lovely community, and being so patient with me! I am working on being present and doing my best, and not worrying so much about things being perfect. I love you all dearly, and I love showing up in this space. Thanks for being here with me.

I got so excited when I saw the Orthodox Observer headline for that workshop hehe. Good for you!!! The burnout is real to be honest, all my recent posts have been old stories I'm digging up from the archives, haven't written much new stuff beyond a few longer-ish notes.
